The ancient museum "Hôtel-Dieu" would have been at first commanderie built in the XII th century by the Knight Templars with its Romanic gate and its Chapel. Eléonore de Courcelles, wife of Jean III de Coligny there installed "Hôtel-Dieu", there in the XV th century. Elizabeth Isabelle Angélique widow of Gaspard IV de Coligny restored it to XVII th century.

   The archaeological and historic museum was installed at instigation of Mr. Hubert Zurfluh there by 1985. It presents the details of important local archaeological discoveries as well as those redrawing the history of the families of Coligny and Montmorency-Luxembourg. A big room was created on the work of four physicists Becquerel. It is classified "Museum of France".
